AI in Coaching
Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing how coaches prepare, deliver and follow up on their work, creating valuable opportunities alongside important questions around trust, confidentiality and professional responsibility.
This practical masterclass explores how AI is influencing coaching, leadership and the wider workplace. Participants will examine where AI can enhance coaching practice, from research and session preparation to reflection, administration and action planning, while considering where human judgement, empathy and personal connection must remain central.
Through demonstrations, realistic scenarios and guided discussion, participants will evaluate the benefits and limitations of AI-enabled coaching tools. They will explore how to identify bias, protect client information, establish appropriate boundaries and make informed decisions about when AI should, and should not, form part of the coaching relationship.
The masterclass ultimately helps participants develop a considered, ethical and human-centred approach to AI, enabling them to embrace innovation without compromising the trust and personal presence that underpin effective coaching.
By the end of this masterclass, participants will be able to:
- Understand how AI is shaping coaching, leadership and organisational decision-making.
- Recognise practical opportunities to use AI to improve efficiency, preparation and insight within coaching practice.
- Evaluate the limitations and risks associated with AI, including bias, inaccuracy, privacy, confidentiality and over-reliance.
- Make informed decisions about which elements of coaching may be supported by technology and which should remain human-led.
- Establish clear ethical boundaries around consent, transparency, data use and professional accountability.
- Apply responsible principles when evaluating and introducing AI tools into their coaching practice.
- Create practical next steps for using AI in a purposeful, proportionate and client-centred way.
